After suffering long server queues following the early launch of Final Fantasy XIV's latest expansion, Endwalker, Square Enix is giving away seven days of free game time to compensate.
Kotaku reports that XIV's director and producer, Naoki Yoshida, apologised in his latest blog post for "ongoing congestion" of players with early access to Endwalker, especially to those who tried accessing the expansion this weekend. Noting that "all Worlds across all regions" have been affected, Yoshida confirmed "progression of login queues is being slowed dramatically."
