Zenless Zone Zero released Ukinami Yuzuha's banner on version 2.1, "The Impending Crash of Waves," alongside Miyabi's rerun banner. If you're one of the many (like me) who pulled for Yuzuha, then you're probably wondering what her best build might be.
Ukinami Yuzuha is a Physical, Support character who uses her umbrella to fight. She is a member of Spook Shack along with Alice Thymefield. Let's dive into her best build, which covers her W-Engine, Drive Discs, and more.

I'll break down what I consider the best Yuzuha build in Zenless Zone Zero, including her best W-Engine, Drive Discs, and more.
W-Engine
Metanukimorphosis
The best in slot (BiS) for Yuzuha will be the limited 5-star W-Engine Metanukimorphosis, which also runs during her character banner.
However, you should note that this is mostly applicable to Anomaly team setups. When Yuzuha uses her EX Special Attack or Ultimate, her Anomaly Mastery increases. When Aftershock is triggered, she also boosts everyone's Anomaly Proficiency. This allows her and her team to capitalize on the boosts that the W-Engine provides.
Remember that it's the Anomaly teams that will benefit the most from using Metanukimorphosis. You can opt for the other W-Engines and not pull for this one if you primarily have Attack or other types.
Weeping Cradle
This will be one of the best W-Engines for Yuzuha outside of the Anomaly team setups.
Weeping Cradle provides Energy Regen, and Yuzuha will greatly benefit from this, as she has a lot of off-field time. The team and Yuzuha gain enhanced damage, further solidifying her strong personal damage while helping her team.
Kaboom the Cannon
Her A-Rank alternative W-Engine. This will be your best bet if you don't have both of the S-Rank options.
This is considered a safe choice for most support agents in Zenless Zone Zero. This W-Engine increases the party's attack. Note that this is better for non-Anomaly teams.
Drive Discs
You may choose any of the 4pc sets below, then use a 2pc Phaeton's Melody for them (for the Anomaly Master effect). Remember to prioritize the following stats for the slots:
- Disc 4: ATK%
- Disc 5: ATK%
- Disc 6: Anomaly Mastery
Her stats should be around 3000+ for ATK, then 200+ for Anomaly Mastery.
Freedom Blues (4pc)
If you want to build Yuzuha primarily for an Anomaly team, then pick Freedom Blues.
I use Yuzuha in teams with Jane, but I'd also like to use her in other teams. If you want to run her with Jane, Piper, or Alice (once she's released), then you'd better opt for Freedom Blues. It boosts Anomaly Proficiency and reduces the enemy's Anomaly Buildup Resistance. Definitely perfect for Anomaly Agents to unleash their full damage on enemies.
Swing Jazz (4pc)
Many players use Swing Jazz as their 4-piece drive disc. This is a great Support Disc set that can be used by many support agents.
Swing Jazz is your safest bet if you don't want Yuzuha to be stuck in an Anomaly team as well. This provides you with energy regeneration and attack buffs for increased damage by everyone in the team.
Proto Punk (4pc)
If you want to utilize Yuzuha in other teams, especially if you don't have Anomaly Agents, you may want to use Proto Punk.
If you're like me, who wants to use Yuzuha in any situation, whether or not I run her with Jane or Alice, then go with Proto Punk. When any of the team members performs a Defensive or Evasive Assist, damage increases. However, her 2-pc effect isn't that useful in the situation where you don't have an Agent that provides a shield.
If you don't have any of the three, then you can also use Astral Voice as another alternative.
Skill Priority
Yuzuha's priority skills are as follows: Basic Attack > Chain Attack > Special Attack > Assist > Dodge (Only as needed)
Team Synergy
Anomaly Team
For an Anomaly team, you may choose to have Jane, Piper, or Alice as your main DPS. They are Physical Anomaly agents who will significantly benefit from the effects that Yuzuha provides. You can opt for Miyabi if you really want to as well. For the other slot, you can have Vivian, Burnice, or Yanagi.
I'd especially recommend having Vivian on the same team as Yuzuha if you do have her. Vivian is an off-field damage dealer (sub-DPS), while Yuzuha is an Anomaly Support. They're probably one of the best team members to have for an Anomaly team at the moment.
Non-Anomaly Team
For a Non-Anomaly team, you can choose Agents such as Soldier 11 as a DPS (or honestly, anyone you want to use as a DPS), then the other slot for Stun Agents like Koleda. Yuzuha's a great Support overall and can provide her ATK buffs to her teammates.
